U.S. to Lift Travel Ban for Vaccinated Visitors
The U.S. will lift travel restrictions on European Union and U.K. citizens who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus beginning in "early November," ending a travel ban put in place to limit the spread of the disease and reopening the U.S. to separated parents and corporate employees, according to Jeff Zients, the White House coronavirus response coordinator's statements to reporters on Monday.
For more than a year, the U.S. has restricted travel to the U.S. from a group of European countries, Iran and China.
Travelers to the U.S. from the EU and the U.K. will be required to show proof of vaccination prior to boarding, as well as a negative coronavirus test within three days of arrival in the United States.
